Partner FAQs
How do litigation funding partnerships work?
When you introduce a case to Apex, we assess its merits and funding requirements. If approved, we provide the finance and you continue to act for your client. Our return is a share of recovered damages, payable only if the case succeeds.
Can multiple funders co-fund the same case?
Yes. We support co-funding arrangements in the UK, which allow risk to be shared across several funders. This can be especially valuable for larger or complex disputes.
How does ATE insurance fit alongside litigation funding?
We often work closely with ATE insurance providers. This gives your clients additional protection against adverse cost orders and strengthens the overall funding package. Read more in our FAQ on ATE insurance and litigation funding.
What do recent regulatory changes mean for introducers and funders?
The CJC litigation funding report (2025) recommended reversing the PACCAR ruling and introducing proportionate regulation. This means greater certainty for your referred cases and confidence that Apex’s LFAs are compliant, transparent, and built to withstand regulatory change. For a full overview, see our Funding Landscape in 2025 guide.
Why Partner with Apex?
Litigation Funding Partnerships that Work
We specialise in commercial disputes requiring up to £750,000 of funding. Whether you’re a law firm, insolvency practitioner, broker or another funder, we provide a clear, consistent framework for collaboration.
Shared Success Through Co-funding
We offer flexible litigation co-funding in the UK, allowing multiple parties to support meritorious claims. This approach helps spread risk while increasing access to justice for claimants who might otherwise be unable to pursue their rights.
Confidence in Compliance
Following the PACCAR ruling and the CJC litigation funding report, the sector is moving towards proportionate regulation that promotes transparency and ensures funders have the financial strength to meet their commitments. Apex already meets and exceeds these expectations, so you and your clients can be assured of our reliability.
Clear, Fair Agreements
Our litigation funding agreements (LFAs) are drafted to be enforceable and easy to understand. We are transparent about our terms and committed to best practice, so you can introduce clients with complete confidence. Learn more in our Funding Landscape in 2025 guide.
